E- seals: minimum requirements

a) The electronic seal is formed from a mechanical seal in which an electronic part has been added. No electronic parts can be reached from outside b) Communication uses radio frequencies and does not requires contact between seal and scanner c) It must be possible to perform identifying procedures of the seal from handy readers as well as from fixed ones d) The serial numbering is guaranteed to be unique and can not be modified because it is written in the silica component. e) The electronic seal contains, in addition to the serial numbering, additional information (number of container, operator's code, etc.) f) It is possible to realize a procedure of self-identifying between seals and scanner, so that a third party cannot read the information g) Check-up on the integrity of the seal h) Interface with other software programs.
